“La vida es tenue, tenue”: éticas, filosofías y educación matemática barajadas por la literatura

One class and six students of a Mathematics Licentiate course and a teacher and a PhD student and a challenge (discussing Ethics) and …. The challenge was launched by the students, bringing with it another: how to do it? We chose the (mis)path of literature. To this end, we invented three fictitious situations and invited students to do a thinking exercise considering Ethics as a field of Philosophy. During the discussions, some topics crossed the discussion: punishment, evaluation, family relationships, friendship, abortion, legality and illegality, class, gender, race, morals, among others. From the recording and transcription of the class, which was held virtually, we wrote a story. Inspired by the students, we launch a challenge to you who are reading this article: how have you mobilized Ethics in your life?
